Sailor at 1 year old

Sailor is now 1 year old and doing amazing!!!! She is not only walking but running. She has so much energy and just goes & goes. She is such a happy little girl. Our little baby is now a toddler. She is very curious and wants to see everything. Sailor has started to say "hi" and "bye". Shes trying to say so many words....we cant wait to hear her really start to say things. She gets into everything and always wants to see what your looking at. She is a huge love bug and loves to give hugs and kisses. We couldnt ask for a more amazing little girl in our life.

Here are the things that Sailor is doing now:

• walking
• running
• trying to jump
• feeding herself, sometimes with a fork
• plays independently
• has 7 teeth (3 top, 4 bottom).....the 4th top one is almost in
• wears a size 3 diaper
• wears a size 12 month clothes, but with her tiny waist she can still fit some 9 month things
• says hi, bye, hot, doggie, duck, mama, dada & papa (not all sound correct, but she tries)
• words we are working on: yellow, gorilla and Sailor
• when asked what a kitty says she says "mow"
• waves & claps
• plays patty cake
• plays peek-a-boo and says "boo"
• knows where her eyes, nose, ears & belly button are
• waves her hand in front of her nose when you say "stinky"
• sleeps through the night......most nights....from 8ish until 8:30ish
• eats almost everything that we eat
• only has 3 bottles a day 
• drinks from her sippy cup & can suck from a straw
• she loves her Micky Mouse Clubhouse & Yo Gabba Gabba

One year stats: 

19 lbs. 4 oz. 30 1/2 inches {our tiny princess}

Happy 1st Birthday Sailor

Dear Sailor,
Today is your 1st birthday!!! I cant believe it has been a year already. You have grown so much this year. You were so tiny when you were born, and we always called you "tiny but mighty" because being tiny never stopped you from doing everything. You did everything so early!!! I remember the day you first rolled over, you were 2 months old exactly. I was even able to get that first milestone on video.
You have been more then a joy to have in our lives and you only make our world better. I cant even remember life without you. You are the sweetest girl. You snuggle and love to give hugs & kisses. You were a very good baby and have turned into an amazing toddler.....i cant believe we have a toddler!!!
I am amazed by your energy!! You just go and go and go.....i really think you would stay up all night and play if we would let you. You love to play with daddy, he is your silly play buddy. I love watching you two play together. You love your daddy so much and you miss him terribly when he is working, as i know he misses you when he is at work.
This year has been the best year of our lives and i know it can only get better with each year we get to spend with you.
We love you so much that it cant even be put into words. Thank you for making this year so special.

Our little boy

Here is baby G2 at 20 weeks.....

The last few weeks before Sailor is one....

Here are some things Sailor has been doing the last few weeks before her 1st birthday. We are really enjoying the park right now!!! Now that she is walking the park is so much fun. It has become a routine to go to the park before dinner and bath time and it tired her out so much that 7:45pm rolls around and she is ready for bed!!! She sleeps so great!!
Sailor has also cut another bottom tooth, that is #7. And she is working on another top #8....maybe it will be here before her birthday.
We have also gone to Disneyland again with Auntie Gail.....Sailor is loving being there. She went on her 1st "rollercoster".....Pirates of the Caribbean, and she feel asleep haha

One more week until our baby girl is a one year old!!!!! 

Baby number two

I guess it is about time i posted something on here regarding the fact that we are expecting our second baby this June......and its a BOY!!!!! We couldnt be more thrilled!!! I have thought it was a boy since day one and at my 18 week check up yesterday it was confirmed. Erik is excited to have a little boy to do boy things with and im excited that he wont want to turn our little princess Sailor into a boy haha, she can still be my girly girl.

I am due June 12, 2011 so we are almost half way there. Time is going even faster this time and Sailor is keeping me very busy. Now that its the new year we have a ton of big events happening before you the little guy gets here....

• Sailor's first birthday {in less then a month}
• Moving into a house before April
• A baby shower
• Then the baby in June

It is going to be a very busy next few months!!!!

Disneyland

For Christmas my sister bought me a Disneyland pass. We took Sailor this week for the 1st time and she LOVED it!!!! It was perfect weather and it wasnt too crowded. We were there for only about 5 hours, but we only went on 2 rides, Small World & Winnie the Pooh. We were in no hurry to do anything since we have all year to keep coming back. Sailor enjoyed just walking around and looking at the people and taking in the sights.
I never in a million years thought i would be "that parent" but i guess i am.....i put a leash on my daughter!!!! But you know what better safe then sorry. She is a great walker and now a runner so she just takes off and since she is so tiny she just gets lost in the people. It made me not have to really worry about her getting stepped on or running off while we were in line.
We thought her favorite part would have been meeting Mickey since she watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse EVERY day, but she LOVED meeting Winnie the Pooh and going on Small World.
Cant wait to take her again.....maybe next week =)

Almost 1 year old

Sailor will be 1 year old in 4 weeks!!!! I am in full blown party planning  mode right now. I have all my lists in order and started getting some of the small things together already. I need to mail out the invitations in about 2 weeks so we took Sailor's 1 year birthday photos this weekend so i can put one on the invitation.....i also plan to frame a bunch and set them out on the tables. Her party will be a ladybug theme, since she is our "little lady". I am so excited about this party......i cant wait!!!

Happy New Year 2011

Happy 2011!!!!!
For New Years Eve we stayed at home, just the 3 of us and watched movies. Sailor did her normal routine and was in bed asleep by 9pm. It was nice to sit at home and relax with our feet up in our jammies.
And as a New Years gift to us Sailor slept for 12 hours straight!!!! Thank you baby girl =)

Twins

Sailor and Erik are seriously twins!!!! They make we laugh when they are together =)
