Good Bye 2009....

HELLO 2010!!!!!
This is going to be the best year of our lives......Erik & I both can not wait for all the excitement that 2010 will bring us. We have less then 5 weeks until our lil princess arrives and we are counting the days!!!! We cant wait for all the "first" that we get to have this new year.....first baby, first grand-baby, first steps, first words, first summer with a baby, first Christmas with a baby.....the list goes on and on......
We feel very blessed that this is how we get to start a new decade xoxo

Due Date Baby Pool

If you are feeling lucky then go ahead and pick a few squares and guess when you think our lil baby girl will be arriving!!!! So far we have about 200+ squares chosen....there are about 650 total, so there are still times/dates to pick if you wanna play ***we are taking phone orders too hahahaha

33 week doctor visit

I had my 33 week doctor visit this morning and everything is great. I only gained 1 pound since my last visit, which made me very happy. Baby G is doing great.....strong heartbeat and in the correct position for delivery. She is very active still and getting bigger every day.
The doctor measured her to make sure she is on track and I was told that she is bigger then expected. She is measuring 34 weeks in length and right on track for weight, so she is a "tall" baby hahaha.......maybe she will be early??? You never know =)
This was the last of my monthly visits. I am now starting to see the doctor twice a month.....getting closer!!!!

32 weeks

Lamaze Classes

So Erik and I started our lamaze classes last week.....tonight is our 2nd class. It wasnt exactly what we thought it would be like. We expected sitting on the floor together with pillows and doing breathing exercises, but instead the class was mainly being talked at and talking in groups and then a movie.....
Maybe this week will be better =)
Then we still have to take a C-section class (just in case the delivery goes that way) and we need to take a tour of the hospital......so much to do and only 8 weeks to do them!!!!

All girl....

If there was any doubt that Baby G is a girl I think this proves that she is all girl!!!! I feel so much better after seeing this that I actually washed some clothes and cut the tags off her things.....I am ready for our baby girl to be born xoxo

Building some baby toys

So Erik & I decided to build all the baby stuff and we had some finger casualties....

This is her closet & top drawer FULL of onesies and second drawer FULL of pants, shoes & socks!!!! But hey she is a girl =)

Where am i gonna put it all.....

So we had our baby shower and got sooooo much stuff for this spoiled lil girl =) When i saw all the gifts the first thing that came to mind was "where are we gonna put it all??!!" It was an amazing baby shower and i had a blast. My mom did an amazing job decorating and putting everything together and my aunt Gretchen was so wonderful to let us use her home.....i know she busted her butt to get everything ready in time for the big day.......THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU....I LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!!

Glucose Tolerance Test

So last week i had to take a 1 hour glucose tolerance test....which mean i can not have any sugar for 12 hours before the test and i go to the doctors they make you drink a VERY sweet flat "soda" and then you sit & wait 1 hour then they draw your blood. Well my test came back "slightly elevated" so they needed me to come back for a 3 hour test which means no food or drink for 12 hours before the test then i go to the doctors and they draw blood right away then you drink the drink then every hour for 3 hours they draw your blood again!!!! It was a horrible morning.
Well i got the call from the doctors this morning and i passed!!!!! So no gestational diabetes for me!!!! Bring on the ice cream!!!!!! hahaha

On Sunday October 18, 2009 Josh & Mari got married in a beautiful intimate ceremony in Arkansas where i was the maid of honor.....and almost 7 months pregnant!!!!

So Harley has found himself a new bed....at least that is what he thinks. He sleeps in the crib everyday and loves it....better get it out of his system now before baby G gets here. But doesnt he look cute =)

The Nursery

Well the nursery is finished....until i need to put away baby shower gifts. The only thing missing is the chandelier, but i need Erik to hang it. I love the dresser/changing table. That lamp was my great grandmas (i think). Also the little book shelf was mine from my childhood bedroom. Most of the little accessories are from my bridal shower....i love that little detail =) Thank you so much mom for all your hard work....i love this room!!!!
All we need now is a sweet baby girl to sleep in there xoxo

Grandma getting ready for baby

So we set up my old baby crib at my mom's house. We got new organic bedding, a new mattress and some basic supplies. Grandma is all ready....just need a baby to put in the crib =)

ps.....the cat thinks it's his new bed....hopefully he gets over it haha

The Nursery in progress

So we started the nursery and i love it!!!! Erik is out of town for work, so mom & I got to work. We put the crib together and moved out some old furniture. We started to paint and hang some curtains. We have more to do but i love what we have so far....thanks mom xoxo

20 weeks

So this week our baby girl is the size of a cantalope hahaha (from head to butt) She is about 10 inches from head to toe =)
The doctor told us that she weighs about 11 oz. so that is right on schedule.
