Park day

This was another fun day at the park with auntie and Madison. We walked around, explored and then ened up on the play ground.

St. Patrick's Day

This was a pretty fun St. Patrick's Day this year. Sailor was old enough to kinda understand what was going on. She knew we had to wear green that day and i told her we would eat tons of green food.
The day started with Auntie Gail & Madison coming over dressed in green of course =) Then Grandpa Greg cae over too!! We had green breakfast.....green eggs & green pancakes for the kids and i made breakfast sandwiches with a green bell pepper cut into a shamrock for the adults. Sailor had green juice while auntie & mommy had green mimosas =) Lunch was green mac n cheese for the kids with pears and a shamrock cookie and some guac for the adults. Then came the green beer haha For dinner was a tradtional corned beef, cabbage and potatoes with irish soda bread.....so yummy!!!
Then we finished the day with some green mint chip ice cream =)

Potty Training

Sailor is SO close to being potty trained!!! She has her princess potty (that she picked out), she has a ton of "big girl" panties and she knows the concept.......but for some reason she just doesnt want "use" the potty. She has no problem sitting on it she just hasnt done anything.....yet!!! She has a pop up castle in the playroom that she had made her own prive bathroom. She goes in there to go #2 (sorry haha) and if Talon crawls in there while she is going her bussiness she yells "get out!! im pooping" haha
So we take it one day at a time......and we know she wont be in diapers forever, she will use the potty soon enough =)

Back yard water fun

We had a few REALLY HOT days a few weeks ago so we played in the backyard alot with the pool and water toys. Talon really loves it and Sailor loves her slide even more when its wet haha

Glitter Jar

I found a pretty cool idea online. Its pretty much a mason jar filled with water and glitter. You give it to your toddler when they are have a fit or meltdown and the idea is that you shake the jar and make the glitter move around. You tell your crying/screaming child that when the glitter calms down so will they and to watch it.
Well we made for Sailor and its worked a few times.....she might be a bit young still because she kinda thinks its a toy and asks for it haha But in the long run i think its gonna help with tantrums.

Talon 9 months old

Can not even believe that our little guy is 9 months old already!!! This is happening way to fast this time!!!
Talon is standing, cruising the furniture, taking a few steps here and there and crawls at lightspeed!!!
He has 6 teeth (4 top & 2 bottom)
He is eating almost all table food and no purees anymore. He loves to chew!!
Talon takes 2 naps and goes to bed at about 8pm or 830pm
but still wakes up to eat once at night and is still in our room!!! We hope to change all of that very soon.....
He says mama & dada and is trying to say bye bye and kinda waves too
He is in size 4 diapers and 12 month clothes....such a big guy!!
He is a joy and we just love him to peices xoxo

a 2 year old

When you let your 2 year old pick out her own clothes for an afternoon of shopping....

And when you take your 2 year old shopping they might find the strangest hat in the store....

And when that same 2 year old gets her own lip gloss it looks like this....

But thats why we love her!!!!
