Huggies overnites

What a pain in the you know what!!!!! Yesterday i went to 6 different stores looking for these diapers and still came home empty handed!! We were having a leaking issues for a while and i was tired of changing crib sheets every morning and changing her jammies in the middle of the night, so i did some research and found that the Huggies overnites work great!! We have had zero leaks since we switched and that makes mommy happy.
Well since i wasnt sure how well they would work i only bought one package and we were down to her last 2 diapers so i went on the hunt. I was able to find them , but not on her size......so annoying!!!!
I might emd up having to buy them online if today ends in a fail again.

Rough 2 days

Yesterday {2.24.11} Sailor got her right hand closed in a door not once, not even twice, but three times!!! By the third time her poor little fingers were swollen. When she woke up this morning she had a bruise on two of her fingers and a few small cuts on her knuckles. Each time she wouldnt let anyone touch her hand and she would cry big alligator tears.....poor baby girl.
Then this morning {2.25.11} we were having a normal good morning....breakfast, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, dancing and playing with her toys. We both napped early today and then ran some errands. At the bank she got a lolly pop and at the grocery store she got a balloon....it was becoming a great day, until we got home......
Sailor was playing with her balloon and i was washing dishes when all of a sudden she was crying. I saw her running in the living room like she always does and then she tripped, on nothing mind you. I went over to her and blood was coming out of her mouth!!! She had bitten her tongue really bad!! She had put two holes in her tongue with her front teeth. I gave her a cold wet dish towel to stop the bleeding and also to make sure it was only her tongue and not her lip too.
We then went to Trader Joes to get some popsicles, where she also got some stickers. She was much happier with the stickers then the popsicles hahaha
The bleeding was fine and we continued our day....carefully. She has a small bruise on her tongue now too.....
This child is gonna be the death of me i swear!!!! She is to wild for her own good, but i love her energy xoxo

Baby g2 at 23 weeks

Here is my belly at 23 weeks {6 months 1 week}.....getting bigger finally. I have gained 7 lbs so far. This time around is so different from being pregnant with Sailor. With Sailor i was able to sit, eat and sleep.....with this baby i am up early and going non stop until Sailor is in bed at 8pm. I get no rest and less sleep and we play all day. Thankfully i feel great.

Valentine's weekend and day

For Sailor's 2nd Valentine's the 3 of us went to the beach like we did last year when she was just 10 days old. It was perfect weather for the beach. Since we didnt expect Sailor to like the water and well it is February we didnt bring towels or anything like that, just a blanket to sit on and Sailor's sand toys. Well as soon as we put her down she ran straight for the water and got her pants wet, which wasnt that big of a deal. Sailor played in the water with daddy while i filmed it {silly mommy forgot to put batteries in the camera, so not many pictures}. We ended up taking her pants off but then she fell and was soaked!!! But that didnt stop her from enjoying herself. We had to at that point take her out and Erik took her to the showers while i packed up. We went back to the car and tried to dry her off with a baby blanket i found in the car and she spent the rest of her beach day in a diaper and her hoodie haha
After she was changed we headed to Dukes for some fish tacos on their beach front patio. Sailor usually hates sitting in a high chair at a restaurant but she was entertained by the surfers and a seagull that was sitting on a rock. She kept yelling duck!!! hahaha

For actual Valentine's Day Erik had to work so Sailor and i went to Disneyland with Auntie Gail. It was way more crowded then we expected, but still a great time. The only ride we went on was The Haunted Mansion, but since we have a pass it didnt matter.....we will be back soon enough. Sailor like just running around and seeing all the people anyways. We made our way over to California Adventure and took Sailor to the "Junior Rangers playground" She had a blast!!!
After Disneyland we headed back to Grandma Kathi's house where Sailor got the cutest pink stuffed doggie. It is as big as she is!!! And she loves it.

We hate teething

As of Sailor's 1st birthday, 2 weeks ago, she had 7 teeth (4 bottom & 3 top) and 1 that has been bothering her for over a month. That 4th top tooth was a really bad one to cut......many sleepless days and nights, clingy to mommy, not eating and just crying all day. It was really horrible to see her in that much pain. But last night it came in!!!!! Thank goodness!!!
She slept fairly well too, only woke up twice and went back to sleep pretty fast.
I am just thankful that this tooth is now behind us. Not sure what will come in next but i think it might be some molars since she has her 4 front top & 4 front bottom.
