Sailor and daddy caught a grass hopper today.....she was pretty excited!!! mommy....not so much....gross!!! ;)

Sleep over with auntie

This Saturday night was our friend Dave's 30th birthday party. We were able to go out for a few hours thanks to grandpa and auntie for watching the kiddos. Auntie made a fort for the kids in the living room and they watched cartoons and ate ice cream. When we got home Sailor was asleep in the fort and slept there most of the night. She loved it and had a great time.
{as we left that night Sailor kept telling me "by mom have fun. see you later....you always come back" i love that little girl}

A new member to our family

....NO IM NOT PREGNANT!!!! haha We got a dog.
We were out dinner on Sunday and about to leave. We were walking toward the parking lot and Sailor wanted to stop and pet what we thought was one of the cooks dog....turns out he was just holding on to her until the pound came to pick her up. He told us that she was just dumped here in the parking lot. When i heard that i couldnt let her be put down. She was so sweet and very gentle with the kids. She is female boxer and we are guessing about 5 or 6. She is so sweet and listens great. We took her home with the plan to call a "no kill" shelter in the morning. We were NOT going to keep her. She slept in the garage and we bought some food. Well its now day 5 and she is still here!!! Sleeping in the living room on her new dog bed with a new collar and a full belly =) She got a bath and is going to the vet soon. She is such a sweet girl. We think her name is going to be Abby.....Sailor named her. I think we are all very lucky to have found eachother.

***update.....well sad but true our sweet Abby girl ran away only 6 days after we saved her =( 

Its birthday time again....

.....this time its for our little guy!!! His 1st birthday is only 6 weeks away!! Wow how time flies by. We did his 1st birthday photo shoot this week.....here is a sneak peak =)

This is the color theme for the party....red, orange, yellow, blue & green. We are having the party at a great park in Orange County. The party planning is almost finished....it was much easier this time since the theme is just a color theme =) Looking forward to the party.....but i cant believe our baby is almost 1.

April so far....

So far this month has been pretty fun.....done lots of summer stuff since its been very hot!!! {sorry i dont have ANY Easter pictures yet!!}
