Baskin Robbins

I told Sailor that if she was a good girl this morning and took her nap with out a fit we would get ice cream.....even though its a rainy day. Well she was good and took a nap so ice cream it was!!! She had never been to an ice cream shop and was in heaven!!! She picked out her own flavor, pink (strawberry) and wanted sprinkles. She ate the whole thing!!!! Thank goodness for "child size" scoops.

And of course Talon had a few bites too =)

Getting to leave the house i told Sailor lets go get dressed, what do you want to wear. She said party dress and fancy shoes. I said ok. So she goes in her closet and this is what she picked.....love her =)

Then a sweat shirt and big pink bow were added =)

Hiking

Saturday morning we thought it would fun to go for a hike. We have never done anything like that with the kids so it was exciting, plus my dad was staying with us again that weekend so it was extra fun. Sailor had a blast. She was on the look for animals....a zebra, giraffe, a lion and an elephant haha All we saw were dogs walking with their owners and 1 squirrel. Talon was in the baby carrier the whole time and slept for most of it but he was happy. It was a loooong hike, about 6 miles and Sailor did great. We only carried her a few times.

Talon 8 months

Our little boy is 8 months old already!! His 1st birthday is right around the corner....holy cow!!! Talon is the sweetest little guy, loves to be held and cuddled. He is pretty much happy all day unless he is hungry and then his food better be ready!!

Talon is...

• crawling like a pro and so fast
• pulling himself up
• standing hands free for long periods of time (might have another early walker)
• self feeding and eats almost anything he can!!! Loves to chew
• saying mamma and baba
• still NOT sleeping though the night, but some nights it seems like its getting better
• wearing all 12 month clothes!!! He is not only a healthy boy but so tall
• finally not being a lazy bum and will hold his own bottle haha

He is a great baby and so fun. I love that when he is super excited and tenses up and almost twitches and just smiles so big. He is into everything and starting to climb.....he is totally all boy!!! Loud, gross, hungry and a trouble maker.....and we love every minute of it.

Enjoying some birthday gifts

Sailor got some great things for her 2nd birthday.....she LOVES her new kitchen from amma!!!

2 years old

Sailor is 2!!!

she knows all her colors, shapes, animals and letters
she can count to 4 then skips 5 & 6 then counts to 10
can recite the alphabet including the end of the song "now i know my abc's" haha
she can sing "wheels on the bus", "baa baa black sheep", "if your happy & you know it",      and "no more monkeys jumping on the bed"
gets her self dressed (most days) but picks out her clothes every day
sleeping in a toddler bed......almost all night now, she is getting SO much better
loves to watch movies, play outside, "go real high" in her swing, go for walks, go to the zoo, color, and now play with her new kitchen
wears a size 4 diaper, but getting so close to potty training
loves to copy mommy with make up, hair and jewelry
talks in full sentences and really never stops talking
still a tiny girl weighing 24 ish pounds, but is 34 inches
wears size 2T in everything now....and actually found 3 pairs of jeans that fit!!
size 6 1/2 shoe

Sailor is the most amazing little girl in the world. She is so smart and funny. She has a personality all her own and its hilarious!! She is such a great daughter and a sweetheart big sister. We love her in our life.
