"Big Girl" peas

Tonight we gave Sailor "big girl" peas (as grandma called it). She wasnt to sure of them at first but then i think she got the hang of them. She is getting so good at chewing and she was really chewing tonight. She was eating them off her spoon and also picking them up off her high chair tray......such a big girl ♥

The many faces of Sailor

Sailor is now 7 1/2 months old and started her "terrible twos" a bit early. She has such a temper and if you dont let her have something she wants or take something away that she shouldnt be playing with she throws the biggest tantrum!!!
Sailor goes from happy to really mad in the blink of an eye.....hopefully this is just a phase until she really is two.

Silly crawling & Flying

While Sailor & I were at grandma Kathi's house we were playing in the back yard with Lulu AKA puppy =) Sailor for the 1st time ever didnt want to crawl on the grass so she was crawling on her hands and feet with her little butt in the air!!!! It was the funnest thing ever!!! She was totally fine with the grass the other day at the park but at grandma's she tried something new hahaha

.....then Sailor went flying!!!!

Long Beach Aquarium

For Auntie Gail's birthday we took her to the LB Aquarium. She had never been and it was Sailor's 1st time too. We had such a good time. Sailor touched everything in the touch tanks and loved splashing in the water.
After the aquarium we went to Island's for lunch/dinner. It was another 1st for Sailor......she sat inside a restaurant in a high chair with the cover. She did such a good job.

Baby open mouth kisses.....

......are the BEST!!!!!! Sailor has learned to give kisses and it is my favorite thing in the world!!! You tell her "give kisses" and then she leans in and opens her mouth on your mouth.....it just melts my heart ♥

She has also started giving hugs xoxo I love her so much!!!

Puffs & Yogurt Melts

Sailor loves her gerber graduates puffs!!!! She started eating them at about 6 months. I would break them into a few small pieces and now at a week over 7 months old she is eating them whole and doing it all by herself!!! She use to only eat many 5 or 6 in the whole day and now she eating them by the hand full hahaha We are on our 3rd container!!! She just loves feeding herself.

Playing in Sailor's bedroom

We have so much fun playing in her bedroom, whether its in the morning when she wakes up or before bed at night or sometime in between. I love Sailor's bedroom so much!!!! When i was pregnant i use to just sit in her room and relax or if i was on the phone i would go in her room, its very peaceful and calming. Sailor loves it to, i think =)

Another cute dress

Well as the weather got much cooler this week Sailor still got to wear cute dresses, but this time she had tights on with them.....such a doll. She is just adorable in whatever she wears =)

Happy 24th Birthday Auntie Gail

Labor Day 2010 was also Auntie Gail's 24th birthday. We went over to Grandma Kathi's house for swimming and a BBQ. It was a fun day full of family, sun & good food!!! Me and mom decorated the cupcakes....they were so good!! Everyone loves Sailors outfit and her new shoes (her 1st pair of real shoes) Also Sailor just loves the pool so much that she kept crawling over to it and so finally grandpa Mike took her in.....she just loved it!! Splashing and laughing......and the perfect way to end a great day....with a bath in grandma's sink =)
