Christmas Eve & Chrismas Day

This was Sailor's 1st Christmas and she enjoyed it to the fullest!!!!

We started our fun holiday weekend by having a mini Gonzales family Christmas at home just the 3 of us. Sailor opened her stocking and a few gifts that were delivered to the house. She really didnt know what to make of the whole thing and wasnt too interested in the opening part. The very 1st thing she pulled out of her stocking was a book i found at Target in the dollar section. It was about Christmas and has dogs & cats in it.....her favorite. She was done after that hahaha She took the book and stood up and walked away. If we knew that was all she needed we could have saved the whole family a ton of money hahaha

After mom & dad opened the rest of her gifts we loaded the car and we were off to Grandma Kathi's house.....

We hung out at Grandma's house for a while before we went down the street to Erik's aunts house, Aunt Lori (so glad our families live so close). There we hung out with Sailor's other Grandma, Grandma Jodi and her Great Grandma Pat (GG Pat) and The Stein family. To keep Sailor entertained we opend a few gifts and like at home after the 1st gift she was done. We left the Stein's house and headed to see more family and have Christmas Eve dinner and do a gift exchange. Sailor was loaded with gifts there too.

After dinner we were on the road again back to the The Stein's again for their gift exchange.....which got pushed to Christmas day since it was now almost 10pm and Sailor was not in the mood for any more Christmas. So we went back to Grandma Kathi's for the night.

Sailor slept great that night in her Christmas jammies and when she woke up Grandma was already up and making coffee, so she took Sailor out to see what Santa brought her. A few minutes later Sailor comes back into our room pushing a mini stroller with a Mickey Mouse doll in it with the bigest smile on her face!!! I think Mickey was her favorite gift of all. When we saw how excited she was we got up too and Auntie Gail was right behind us. We started with stockings and then it was on to the gifts.

Santa was good to us this year.....Erik got new golf clothes, a push cart for golf, the new Tiger Woods game & the best of all real golf clubs for Sailor when she is older.....they are so cute!!! He cant wait to take her with him. I got wooden spoons (so excited!!!), cook books, a huge case of diapers, a Disneyland pass and so much more. Sailor made out the best.....i think she got 1 of everything at the toy store haha She loves her new toy from Auntie Gail and of course her Mickey....oh and her Yo Gabba Gabba blanket hahaha

After we cleaned up the mess of Christmas we had a huge brunch and more family came over. It was so fun this year having everyone over watching Sailor and seeing her excitement.

Later that day we went back to The Steins to open gifts. Sailor again made out like a bandit with all her loot!!! She got a fux fur coat from Grandma Jodi and a ton of movies from Auntie Sarah. Erik was very surprise when he got a Sky Caddy golf GPS form his mom. I was also surprised to get a very special gift. Erik's mom gave me a diamond & sapphire necklace & ear ring set that was her step mothers and asked that when Sailor is old enough i pass it on to her.

Then our final stop before going back to Grandma Kathi's for prime rib dinner was to go see Erik's dad. We were only able to stay a short while since the day was very busy and sailor was tired, but we got to see everyone and Sailor of course got more gifts!!!

This was by far my favorite Christmas ever and i only have my beautiful daughter to thank for that.....she make everything so much more special.
Merry 1st Christmas Sailor xoxo
