39 weeks

39 weeks!!!! Only 1 week to go.....or less!!!!! Fingers crossed its less hahaha
We are just counting the days until baby G is here....its just a waiting game right now.
This little princess is gonna make a fashionably late arrival is our guess......she will want to make a statement!!!!

"The" Salad

Today my mom & I went to Caioti Pizza Cafe in Studio City for dinner. We went there for one reason....."The" Salad!!!! 

I think it might be the valley's best kept maternity secret hahaha. Pregnant woman have been going there for years when they are close to their due date or overdue and from what they say about this salad it really works!!! Really its the dressing that does the trick. I ordered the large salad with extra dressing and brought it home. 

I will have it for lunch again tomorrow.

Hopefully this "magic baby salad" will help get this little princess out!!!!

Walking this baby out!!!!!

So Erik and I have been going on walks a lot lately. Since the baby is due in a week we thought this would help things along. So far no labor yet, but hopefully all this walking has helped me to dilate a little =) That was my goal for my next doctors appointment....I want to be dilated to at least 1cm and I see the doctor tomorrow morning....fingers crossed its good news!!!

Its been really nice walking in this weather too. I dont get to overheated and we can walk longer. There is a lake with a park near our house so we have been going there and walking around the lake. Its about a one mile walk and we do it in about 45 mins......and for someone 9+ months pregnant i think that is pretty good =)

Well I will keep you posted if all this walking has paid off and Ive made some progress or better yet I go into labor!!!! Fingers crossed.

The final countdown

Its the final countdown.....we are counting the days until Baby G arrives. There are only 10 days until my due date and if she decides to stay where she is I will be getting induced on February 9th. So at the very most only 17 more days!!!!!
I still cant believe that in 10 - 17 days we will have a baby!!! I look around the house at all the baby things we have and I look at her finished nursery and cant believe its been 9 months. This has been an amazing experience so far and I am hoping that labor and delivery is just as amazing =) We have waited a long time for this little girl to arrive......there are so many people who cant wait to meet her xoxo

SoCal winter storm watch

So this week SoCal is actually getting some winter weather. There has been major rain, thunder & lightning and even a tornado warning!!

Here in the valley where we live wasnt hit as hard as some places, but we got our share of crazy rain & wind. Here is the rainbow we saw from our balcony.




Here are some local photos of what has been going on this week......and its not over yet!!!! Water spout that came onto land in Seal Beach & turned over some cars. Streets flooded in Costa Mesa & even the 710 freeway is flooded in Long Beach causing major traffic.

37 weeks

***Well with only a few more weeks until my due date this is what i look like =) I am feeling gigantic and ready to pop at any time. With only 3 weeks until "D-Day" we are 100% ready for this little girl to make her grand entrance.....come on baby G any time now!!!! We are waiting.....

Finishing touches to the nursery

Our friend Josh came over today and painted a great painting or a "vintage" looking tree with simple leaves and some white flowers. I am going to attach some fabric pink flowers as soom as it dries. I cant wait to add the flowers and have the nursery be 100% finished.
All we need is a baby now =)
