The Nursery in progress
So we started the nursery and i love it!!!! Erik is out of town for work, so mom & I got to work. We put the crib together and moved out some old furniture. We started to paint and hang some curtains. We have more to do but i love what we have so far....thanks mom xoxo

20 weeks
So this week our baby girl is the size of a cantalope hahaha (from head to butt) She is about 10 inches from head to toe =)
The doctor told us that she weighs about 11 oz. so that is right on schedule.

20 weeks.....its a girl, shopping & 3D ultrasounds

That is what Gail & I bought on our shopping spree.....and then those are photos of our baby girl at 20 weeks.....also that is me at about 19.5 weeks
Baby G now stands for Baby GIRL!!!!!
Yesterday Erik and I went to the ultrasound specialist to get a full scan of the baby. It was the most intense doctors visit ever!!!! We were there for 2 hours and about 1 1/2 hours of that was the ultrasound. We got to see everything from the top of her head & her brain all the way down to her toes. It was amazing!!!!
When we got to the part where the doctor would tell us the gender i was just watching Erik's face, which was very serious the whole time. When the doctor said you are having a girl my heart could have exploded with love and i couldnt stop smiling. Erik went from very serious and interested in what the doctor was telling us to laughing out loud when she said girl!!!! It was so cute. Once he started laughing i started and then we both had the giggles.
After the appointment i went to my mom's house to share the good news and then to do some shopping damage with my sister. We had a blast buying everything that Target has for a baby girl!!!! I cant wait for next year!!!!!

My future
This weekend at my mom's house we had a BBQ for my sister's birthday & labor day. Tons of friends and family. One of my oldest friends was there with her new baby girl, Skylar. I got a very real glimpse into my very near future while holding the 4 week old baby girl. She is the sweetest baby and i cant wait to have my baby here too =)

boy or girl???........we still dont know!!
So at my 18 week appointment we tried again to find out the gender of the baby and we just couldnt get a shot of the goods!!! The baby was just chillin there being shy and not sharing haha
But besides that the baby is doing great. Baby G is growing right on schedule and and starting to kick mommy, daddy is jealous =)
In 2 weeks we are going to an ultrasound specialist to see if they can use a better machine and hopefully we can get our answer =) I am really looking forward to that appointment not only to find out what we are having but also because they told me to bring a blank DVD so they can record the ultrasound!!!!
I cant wait to know what we are having so i can start shopping and planning the baby shower....until then i wait......
