Sign language

I have recently started teaching Sailor some very basic sign language in the hopes that it will help us to communicate with less frustration from us both. She is doing really well with it.....why didnt i start this earlier haha Guess that is what the second child is for haha
So far Sailor can sign (at the right time and for the right reason) the words "more", "please" and "thank you".

Twins

We all knew from day 1 that Talon looked just like my mom's side of the family, while Sailor looks just like Erik's side.....she is daddy's twin. We just realized how much Talon looks like my mom when she was a baby.

Talon's birth announcement

We finally (after almost 7 weeks) did Talon's birth announcements. Now i just need to get them in the mail.

car wash

This afternoon Erik went out to wash his truck. It was really hot still so we brought Sailor's car out front too. She got into her bathing suite and got a rag.....she washed her car while daddy washed his. Then she helped Erik wash his truck.....she is such a good helper.

Baby Bjorn

Sailor has seen me wear the baby bjorn a ton lately and the other night while cooking dinner i had it on at home. Its the only way to make both kids happy and still have 2 hands!!
Anyways, she saw it laying on the couch and put in on. She went into her playroom and put her baby doll and her whale in it haha She walked around the house wearing the bjorn with her babies in it.....so cute!!!!

Sicky Sailor

Yesterday when Sailor woke up from her afternoon nap she just wasnt herself. Very cranky and clingy. We went to the bank & post office and when we got home we had Popsicles since it was almost 100 degrees out. Sailor sat very quietly while she ate hers, not normal for her. As it got closer to dinner time she got worse, so i gave her some motrin because i thought it was teething again. At dinner she wouldnt eat and just cried the whole time. I felt her head and she felt very hot. I took her temp and sure enough 102!!!! She has never ever had a fever!!! Not from her shots and not from teething, so i know something is wrong. Off to a cool bath she went....
Once the motrin kicked in she was a whole new girl. We sat on the couch with her blanket and a bottle and watched Shrek. She fell asleep about 20 minutes in (at 6:15pm) She only slept for about 20 minutes, but when she woke up she ate and played a little. Her fever was down to 99 by bedtime. She slept all night, from 9:30p till 6:30a.
Now the next morning.....she has a fever of 100 degrees. She got some more motrin and some breakfast and now she is sleeping on the living room floor.
My poor baby girl is a sicky =(

Dress up

Sailor has a small collection of dress up stuff.....that i will be expanding very soon!!! She has played with her purses and jewelry for a while now, but this day i brought out her tutus and boas. She saw that boa and got very excited and said "ooooo". She Wore her tutu and pearls the rest of the day, and even had her pearls on in the bath!!! Love my little girly girl.

Steak

With the weather being so hot we havent been cooking in the kitchen as much and we have been using our new BBQ a ton!!! Erik had a steak and i had salmon. He got up to get something from the kitchen and Sailor took his seat......and his steak haha She actually loved it!!! Erik cut her off a tiny piece and she chewed it up.

Sailor normally loves the pool but for some reason she was not happy this time. Not sure what her issue was, but we couldnt help snap some pictures haha Talon was calm and relaxed while laying by the pool.
