A day at the beach
Today auntie Gail came out and we took the kids to Malibu. We parked and started our way down the pier to have lunch at Ruby's, but when we got there were closed for some reason. It wasnt a total loss since Sailor just loved the pier!!! She ran down the whole thing and stoped to look over the rail all the way. Sailor was on a mission to find a whale...her lastest obsession =) We didnt see any whales, but we did see a boat which was just as good.
We ended up eating lunch at another place on the pier and Sailor was amazing!! She sat in the booth and looked out the window at the surfers.
After lunch we made our way to the sand. Sailor got right to digging. She played in the sand with her bucket and shuvel the whole time. Talon was awake for most of the day too and was such a happy baby watching the waves.
Such a fun day!!!

Train station
Auntie Gail took the train to come visit. We picked her up after our day at the zoo. Her train was running a little late so we played in the car since it was really hot outside. Sailor loves to "drive" so she had a blast being in the front seat. And Talon was just happy to be out of his car seat.

2 months old
Talon is 2 months old!!! It is going by so fast. Our little "big" guy is doing so great. He is eating like a champ and sleeping great. We have started feeding him 6 oz right before bedtime and he is sleeping longer at night. For the 1st time last night he slept 6 housr straight!!!! Thank you very much!!! Talon is a tummy sleeper, but only during the day while i am awake with him. Soon enough he will be in his crib and able to sleep on his tummy.
He has started to smile and is "talking" so much more. He is loving is activity mat. He just lays there and "talks" to the toys hanging above him.
I can make Talon smile just by saying "ooooo" He just loves that haha
Talon rolled over (by accident i think) about a week ago. He was doing tummy time and then he just rolled on to his back. He hasnt done it agian since, but i saw it!!!
At Talon's 2 month check up our big boy weighs 12lbs 1 oz and is 23 inches!!!! He is gonna out weigh his big sister before we know it!!! He will be her little "big" brother!!! He is such a great baby and we just love him!!!

18 months old
Miss Sailor Elizabeth is 18 MONTHS OLD!!!!! Wow how fast the year and a half has gone by.
She is such an amazing little girl. Always learning something new and full of energy. She loves animals and can say all the animal sounds. Right now a whale (she thinks all sea life is a whale) is her favorite. She gets very excited if she sees a fish, dolphin, shark or whale. Elmo is also a favorite in the house right now. We watch Sesame Street every morning now, followed by Curious George, which is a nice break for me from Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
Sailor is such a big helper around the house. She loves to put clothes in the hamper, diapers in the diaper genie & trash in the trash can. She even likes to help with her baby brother, Talon. She gets his pacifier when he cries, hold his bottle for him and gets diapers when he needs a diaper change. She is very into changing diapers right now. She always thinks she needs a new diaper and wants to have a diaper on her baby dolls. She will get out the changing pad and lay down on it with a diaper.....potty training soon?? Maybe!!
Sailor is talking up a storm these days. She says a new word almost every day. The list of words is so long at this point i cant even make a list haha Now if only her love of eating was as big as her love for talking and playing.....our little mini doesnt like to eat much. She is a snacker for sure!!!
At her 18 month check up Sailor did amazing......until the doctor came in!!! She hates that guy. She weighs 21 1/2 lbs and is 33 inches. Skinny mini still....and we love her!!!
