another day at the park

Sailor & I went to the park today and she went on the swings and then we played under a tree and watched the wind move the leaves......love summer time!!!!

Father's Day

Sailor & Erik got to celebrate their 1st Father's Day this weekend. Sailor made daddy a t-shirt with her footprint on it and mommy framed a photo of them in a frame that says "daddy & me".

We played in bed in the morning, then went to the living room for breakfast and more play time until daddy left for a golf game.

We walked to the playground to push Sailor on the swings, then went to Trader Joes to get some salmon & steaks for dinner. 

Daddy gave the baby a bath, then we played until it was Sailor's bedtime.

It was truly a fun day.....happy 1st father's day Erik ♥

4 months so far....

here are some things Sailor has been up to at 4 months old.....
she started eating rice cereal, leaning forward in her swing & stroller, eating bananas, jumping in her jumper for 30-45 mins at a time & holding her own bottle!!!! such a big girl now!!!

Sailor had her 1st visit to the playground and went on the swings & slide for the first time.....she loved it!!! She also touched the sand for the first time =)

4 months

Our little Sailor girl is 2 days from being 4 months old!!!! Time is just flying by us. Some of the accomplishments Sailor has mastered are: rolling over (from back to tummy) You cant keep her on her back for a second.....she is our rollee polee =) Also Sailor is started to reach for toys while on her tummy & is in the very early stages of crawling. She pushes with her legs and scoots!! Sailor went in the pool for the first time in Palm Springs for Memorial weekend and she did great!! We started in the jacuzzi since the pool was a bit cold. Grandma Jodi bought her a her a floaty pool toy and she loved it. 

This is going to be a fun summer!!!

Sailor is eating great and sleeping even better. She has been in her crib in her own room for over a month now & she sleeps for about 10 hours.....we are very lucky!!!

She is "talking" up a storm now and loves to hear her own voice. She will talk to her self in the moring when she wakes up before i go in to get her....it is adorable. 

At her doctors appointment we got the thumbs up to introduce her to rice cereal and in a few weeks we can add in some apple sauce & bananas.....we are very excited!!!! I think we will start the cereal this weekend so daddy can be here to help, since he works all week.

At her 4 month check up Sailor got a shot in the butt, but only cried for a few seconds and then was very good. 

Stats: 12 lbs 9 oz & 25 inches.

fun in the sun

We had a blast in Palm Springs for Memorial weekend. Sailor went in the pool for the 1st time and she did great. She was kicking and smiling. Grandma bought her a floaty boat and she sat in it.....its a little big, but it did the job. The weather was amazing......about 95 during the day & 70 at night. Cant wait for more family vacations this summer!!!
