St. Patrick's Day

This was a pretty fun St. Patrick's Day this year. Sailor was old enough to kinda understand what was going on. She knew we had to wear green that day and i told her we would eat tons of green food.
The day started with Auntie Gail & Madison coming over dressed in green of course =) Then Grandpa Greg cae over too!! We had green breakfast.....green eggs & green pancakes for the kids and i made breakfast sandwiches with a green bell pepper cut into a shamrock for the adults. Sailor had green juice while auntie & mommy had green mimosas =) Lunch was green mac n cheese for the kids with pears and a shamrock cookie and some guac for the adults. Then came the green beer haha For dinner was a tradtional corned beef, cabbage and potatoes with irish soda bread.....so yummy!!!
Then we finished the day with some green mint chip ice cream =)

  1. You are so fun! I love all the green food ideas. I kind of dropped the ball this year with my kids. Not a single one of us even wore green on St. Patrick's Day. Oops. I guess I was more focused on the fact that it was my birthday than on the green holiday. :)
