We went to Lake Havasu, AZ for a family vacation and to say good bye to Erik's grandpa Marty. We had a memorial for him on the lake in the same cove he scattered grandma Lola's ashes a few years back.
The weather was hotter then hell, but that was to be expected. The kids were so good on this trip. They spent every day in the water and then slept amazing!!! Our room had a sitting area with a pull out couch so we made that the kids room. We put pillows around the bed and brought Sailor's bed rail from home. They were so tired they hardly moved haha
They also did very well on the boat. It was theor first boat ride & first time wearing a life jacket.
It was a much needed vacation for Erik & I who got to lounge around the beach while the kids played and have some adult time sitting on the patio when they went to sleep.
Best of all mommy came home with a tan =)
